What the club keeps, why, and how to erase all of it. The site works entirely without an account.
Without an account, we keep nothing
You can read the courses and traps and solve the exercises without creating an account. Your progress is then stored only in your browser (localStorage): it never leaves your device and we cannot see it.
With an account, what we store
- A display first name — never a full name.
- Your email address, used only to send you the sign-in link.
- Optionally a parent phone number, as a contact for the club. It is never used to sign in and receives no automated messages.
- The first name of each player profile attached to the account — a first name only, never a surname, never a date of birth.
- Each profile’s progress: exercises solved, attempts, hints used, lessons finished.
- Their points, earned on the site; their tokens, given by a teacher with the stated reason; and their shop orders.
- Their games against the computer: the level and the result, never the moves.
- Their attendance at sessions, recorded by a teacher.
Why
To keep your progress across your devices, and to let teachers follow the group and attendance. Nothing is used for anything else: no advertising, no resale, no profiling.
What we never do
- No photographs, ever.
- No messaging, no comments, no user-submitted content of any kind. Nobody can contact a child through this site.
- No advertising cookies and no third-party trackers. Audience measurement, when enabled, is anonymous and cookie-free.
- No password is created or stored: signing in is by email link.
Minors
The club teaches children, and everything here is sized for that: the strict minimum, and nothing that would let a stranger reach a child.
About a child we store four things and not one more: their first name, their progress, their attendance at sessions, and their points. No surname, no date of birth, no address, no photograph.
The child has no account. The account belongs to the parent — it is their email address that signs in, and the child is a profile attached to that account. A teenager may hold their own account: that is then an account with a single profile.
Deleting the account erases everything, at once and with no delay: the account, every child attached to it, their progress, their games, their points and their attendance. Nothing remains, not even an anonymised copy.
No photograph of a child is stored, published or requested, anywhere on the site. There is no way to send one.
No messaging, no comments, no user-published content: nobody can write to a child from this site, and that is a permanent decision rather than a limit of the current version.
How long we keep it
Data is kept for as long as the account exists. An account inactive for two years is deleted. Progress stored locally in your browser stays under your control and can be cleared at any time by clearing the site’s data.
Erasure
You delete your account yourself, from the “My account” page: deletion is immediate and permanent. It cascades — the account, the students attached to it, their progress, their games, their points and their attendance are erased together. Nothing is kept: no statistics, no archive, no anonymised copy. Nothing is left to recover, including by us.
Progress saved in your browser is not affected: it is on your device, it is yours, and you clear it by clearing the site’s data.
Where the data lives
Accounts and progress are hosted by Supabase, acting as a processor, on infrastructure located in the European Union. The site itself is served by Cloudflare. No data is passed to any other third party.
